short life update

The time before Christmas is always hectic; this year will be the second I'll be working with children so it's even more hectic than usual. I work a few hours overtime & have a whole bunch of other obligations so I won't be around much although you can always reach me by commenting or something. 

In the next few days I'll write a few rules for [community profile] thedestiel and try to make the community more appealing and in two weeks I'll have two weeks vacation (yay!) so I will post more, probably a short Christmas fic and also a few meta posts. But until then I'm really swamped, sorry guys.

Which isn't a bad time to be sick per se but the problem is: I really like my work. If it was a simply 9-5 job sitting at a desk I'd be working too but it's not that great to be sick when you're mainly working with kids who are too young to get vaccinated yet. 

But yeah, thankfully I'm able to explore other options of fandom hubs and I have to say, I'm liking the feel of dreamwidth so far. It's very much like LJ and I forgot how much I missed that (fuck tumblr and their tags where you have *everything* in one multi column site) so.... let's see, I guess?

I'm also planning to use it for some personal journaling, I really like the questionoftheday community so I'll probably post a lot about that too. (Also about my new partner because I'm, at the moment, very much in love with him :P)

You will be able to find my more fandom-y thoughts probably in the communities that I joined but I do plan to upload my fics on here to back them up (they're on Ao3 too but you can never have enough exposure I guess. :P
